DESCRIPTION:“The Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run will take place on 22nd March 2026 set against the backdrop of Bournemouth’s famous seven-mile stretch of golden sand. We are delighted to have Dorset Mind\, Forest Holme Hospice\, Bournemouth Foodbank\, and Healthbus Trust returning as our Charity Partners for 2026. \nThe Half Marathon starts from Pier Approach at 10:00. Entries are open to participants aged 17 and over. Race entries close on 19th March 2026 (or sooner if the race reaches capacity) but runners signing up after 15th March will need to collect their bibs from the Info Tent (in the Race Village in Bournemouth Lower Gardens)\, rather than receive them in the post. DESCRIPTION:​The annual Boscombe 10K race organised by Bournemouth Joggers ladies’ running club\, is a chip-timed undulating open road race. The route is fully marshalled. We welcome runners of all abilities\, from top local athletes to runners competing in their first 10K race. \nRace medal for all finishers. Information on prizes for individual age categories and teams can be found under our Race Categories section. \nRefreshments and toilet facilities in the stadium. \nEntrants must be 15 years or over on race day. \nPlease note\, the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Dogs or pushchairs are NOT allowed. \nFor this year’s event\, numbers can be collected on the day. Final race instructions\, including confirmation of any bag drop and changing facilities will be sent out roughly 10-14 days before the race. \nThe race is held under UK Athletics Rules\, UKA Full Race Licence ID: 2023/47538. Course Measurement Certificate of Accuracy 23/256 \nThere will also be a children’s 1.5K Fun Run\, which will take place before the main event at 9.30am. The Fun Run starts and finishes in the stadium; there are prizes for the first boy and girl under 10 and under 15\, all finishers receive a race medal. Entry is online only and costs £5.00.
